  1. I definately believe that the realm of politics is where we derive atleast 60% of our comedy and comedic material from. In addition to the Daily Show and Colbert Report, politics has fueled sitcoms such as South Park, The Simpsons, and Family Guy. And where would the late 90s be without the bombardment of Monica Lewinsky jokes? Guess that shatters the old “politics is boring” stereotype. Its incontrovertible visibility in society make politics and those involved in it all the easier to satire.
