“Somewhere in Kenya a village must be missing its idiot”

I’m going to go ahead and preface this post by saying I in no way agree with the following:

(Microsoft Entourage automatically deletes my junk mail after 30 days, so once I left class and was connected to the internet, it deleted the email I read in class… however, I found a blog excerpt with part of the email)

“Yes folks, we have a President who thinks he can stimulate the economy by printing more “money,” raising your taxes, and spending our grand children’s inheritance—all to win the votes of illegal immigrants, dead people, and Democrats.

Furthermore, he can’t prove he was born in America. According to Obama’s Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as he claims. Before his inauguration, his grandmother bragged that her grandson was about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present during his birth in Kenya, in the delivery room. This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg who is a life long democrat himself. Berg is the former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. ”

As a reminder, this email was sent by “Conservative Action Alerts.” I sent them an email asking if they could re-send the original, and if they do I’ll post it on here in its entirety.

I can only assume that most people on this email list are on the extreme right? I mean, I can really only speak for myself, where I ended up on this list by mistake.

The wording of this email is definitely questionable as well, as they strategically use his middle name while discussing his birthplace. Also, nowhere in this statement do they say what the news sources actually are that provide this information, nor do they explain where they get the information regarding Obama trying to win the votes of “illegal immigrants” and “dead people.” I’m assuming they’re referring to ACORN, but it’s pretty ridiculous wording, and a little far-fetched. I think it’s also interesting how they put “illegal immigrants,” “dead people,” and “democrats” all in the same sentence.. as if winning the votes of democrats is just as bad a the first two.

  1. Thanks for posting this – now we’ll see if anyone can successfully fact check the claims, and see if it was mentioned in any mainstream media outlets.

You make a good point about the language used. Also, they mention Philip Berg as a Democrat and former deputy AG of Penn. They conveniently fail to mention the successful cases of legal malpractice brought against him, that he is a 9/11 truther who believe Bush and Cheney were behind the attacks, and that he published a ridiculous book that has been shown to be full of lies and distortions on Barack Obama.

Apart from all that he seems a credible source.

  2. This was on Huffington Post this morning:

A solider refuses to be deployed over Obama’s birth certificate.

  3. This is so offensive, ugh! Anyways, interestingly I found a Fox News article essentially defending Obama in that he is a natural born citizen:
