Is Hearst Responsible for the Assassination of President McKinley?

On another note, looks can be deceiving. I think like he looks like a nice guy but apparently not if he is able of such an act.

Unrelated thought: looks can be deceiving. I think like he looks like a nice guy but apparently not if he is responsible of such an act.

The person who assassinated President McKinley, Leon Czolgosz, at least flirted with anarchism if he was not anarchist all together. He also was somewhat influenced by socialist thought. Now I am not trying to criticize these movements I am just trying to point out that they do have violent/radical elements to them. So, Czolgosz might have had some violent thoughts  and plans already. But does Czolgosz’s background exonerate Hearst? In my opinion, no.  I have thought about this and wrestled with the thoughts  like: Czolgosz is responsible for his actions since he acted out of his own will; as well as Hearst published a hateful and violent messege so he is part of this too. While it is true that Czolgosz acted out of his own volition he was most definitely encouraged by Hearst’s newspaper. This is especially true if Czolgosz had the newspaper  with him during the crime. So Hearst is responsible as well.

The media needs to be prudent as to what it says.
